David Grutman, the owner of LIV, other nightclubs and restaurants, is teaching a hospitality course at FIU BBC starting on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The seven-week and three-credit course is exclusively open to FIU students.

Grutman’s background in hospitality can be traced back to 2008 when he first opened LIV, a popular nightclub located in Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a five-star hotel.

While riding the success of LIV, he opened STORY Nightclub in 2013.

Two years later, Grutman opened his first restaurant KOMODO in Brickell, a three-story indoor/outdoor eatery and lounge.

Grutman revealed news of the course on his Instagram, @davegrutman.

For more information about the course or to register, FIU students can contact their advising office.
