Students who were highly anticipating DJ Steve Aoki’s virtual performance tonight will be disappointed to find out the headliner will no longer be on the lineup.

According to an email sent out by FIU Homecoming this morning, the performer backed out  “due to circumstances beyond their control.”

However, the concert and planned festivities will continue on.

In his place, American DJ and producer, Diplo will be headlining the show along with opener and electronic music artist, DJ Silence Of.

Panthermonium will take place tonight at 7:15 p.m. on Looped, a virtual venue platform.

The event is free for FIU students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

In order to join the live stream, you must first create an account on www.LoopedLive.com using a valid FIU email.

After that, you can  claim your virtual concert ticket by heading  to https://go.fiu.edu/hcconcerttickets. Tickets can be claimed up until the start of the show.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the performers a question through the FIU Homecoming Instagram story.

The Homecoming Council recommends that people add their name and year when asking a question. That way they can receive recognition if their question is chosen.
