It’s that time of year again, folks. Sure, you’re probably thinking I’m talking about the end of the spring semester and summer rolling around, but that’s not quite it. I’m talking about a different kind of season.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for music lovers, fans and enthusiasts.  Music festivals are well under way, and they’re only going to get this better from here on out.

About a month ago, electronic beats and neon colors took over Downtown Miami as Ultra Music Festival danced its way in and left its make on the city.

This time, it’s about heading a little bit north to West Palm Beach. SunFest was founded  in 1982 and since then, it has gone on to become Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. This year’s festivities will be taking place May 2-6, so it’s the perfect way to kick off the summer and shake off all that stress from finals week.

As has become expected, SunFest follows the tradition of bring a diverse group of artists. This year is no exception to that. The lineup is extensive and includes: hip-hop and rap artists like Pitbull, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa; rock bands Third Eye Blind, All American Rejects, Coheed and Cambria and The Fray; classic acts Foreigner and Joan Jett &  The Black Hearts; and an indie twist in the form of Passion Pit.
