WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Don’t worry, FIUSM.com is fine.

On the other hand, it looks like like foxnews.com had a little hiccup today.

Lesson learned: test upgrades offline rather than going live. Something Fox and our government (see the healthcare.gov fiasco) should probably do.

While it’s fun to knock foxnews.com and the healthcare.gov site, bugs and glitches have coming up in several games that have been released this fall.

“Grand Theft Auto V” had a shaky multiplayer launch, where a good chunk of players had difficulty playing online, and some of those that did managed to lose their progress and hard earned robbery money.

“Battlefield 4” is no stranger to bugs, especially the single player portion. The multiplayer has been criticized for being broken as well, with DICE promising to fix them as soon as possible.

“Batman: Arkham Origins” has been ripped for having several bugs at launch, especially those that delete progress or prevent you from completing the game. My upcoming review will point a couple of these bugs out as well, including one that caused criminals to fly into space (like this sabertooth in Skyrim.)

“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” has been pretty bug free so far during my playthrough, but the internet has been pretty good at finding bugs in the game.

Overall, bugs can ruin your experience, or sometimes make something entertaining which wasn’t the intent of the creator. If you do encounter a bug in FIUSM.com though, email me! (Unless it’s funny, then I can turn it into a feature of the site.)

do you get paid per article? lol

    • Staff writers get paid per article that go in both The Beacon and on FIUSM.com. I’m a director, so I don’t get paid for individual articles.

Plus this is just a blog post just for FIUSM, so it would never go in the Beacon, but fits right here on the site!
