Jake Medlock will transfer to Valdosta State.

Junior Jake Medlock won’t finish his college career at FIU. The quarterback will transfer to Division II school Valdosta State and finish his playing days there.

“I will be here next year,” Medlock said to the Miami Herald recently. ‘

Medlock took to Instagram to announce his departure from FIU.

Sophomore E.J. Hilliard seems to be the most likely candidate to take over the starting role for the Panthers. Hilliard threw for 775 yards and connected on 58 percent of his passes this season, he threw for three scores and four interceptions.
