
Athletes from all over the world prepare to begin the swimming portion of the FIU 2575 Triathlon. The Triathlon consisted of a .75k swim, 20k bike ride, and 3k run.

Swimmers from the professional category prepare to begin the swimming portion of the triathlon. The race divided swimmers by color coded swimming caps, with the professional athletes sporting green caps.

Swimmers from the Clydesdale, Athena, and relay team category begin the swimming portion of the FIU 2575 Triathlon. The Clydesdale category is men over 220 lbs and the Athena category is women over 165 lbs.

The largest group, the age group category, donned pink and white swim caps during the swimming portion of the triathlon. It included all female age groups, men 15-24 and men over 50.

The last group to swim in the triathlon were men 25-39, who began at 7:25 a.m donned yellow swim caps.
