The fire alarm went off in the Green Library at 10:50 a.m. on Oct. 1. Students, faculty and staff were ushered out of the building and were not allowed into the main area of the library’s breezeway.

University Police Chief Alexander Casas later confirmed that there was no actual fire inside the library.

Casa confirmed what set the fire alarm off was a burnt croissant.
