On December 31st, WRGP will be hosting “Best of 2015” from noon-6pm, showcasing our top tracks of the year. The New Year’s special will be divided into categories by genre: Loud (Rock), Hip Hop/R&B, and Electronic.
This year in music had a lot to offer. A few noteworthy mentions include dream pop duo, Beach House, whom released two records – only two months apart from each other. Psychedelic group Tame Impala, delivered a solid album with Currents and Jamie xx did not disappoint with In Colour. Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly and Alabama Shakes’ Sound and Color, both hold Grammy nominations for “Album of the Year.”
“Best of 2015” Schedule:
Loud (Rock) 12-2 p.m.
Hip Hop/R&B 2-4 p.m.
Electronic 4-6 p.m.
