Freshmen 15 on Spotify

It’s been a joke for as long as colleges have been around that the freshmen class always gains at least fifteen pounds. Well, why limit that to just body weight? Add some pounds to your music library by taking a listen to these fifteen songs you probably haven’t heard before. It includes a range of genres and encourages you to scroll down to the “songs like this” section of your music provider.

It’s (Literally) Always Summer in Miami on Spotify

I chose these songs for the “It’s Always Summer In Miami” theme because I wanted the playlist to have a very surf-pop/surf-rock sound. I also think that these songs definitely make you feel like you’re at the beach year-round. Someone could be listening to this playlist during finals week, and still feel like they’re sitting in the sand down in Miami Beach. I also wanted it to be made up of songs that you don’t usually hear on Top 40 stations, but that still had a very beachy vibe and fit the theme of eternal summer in Miami.

“Worlds Ahead” is a playlist I cultivated, because it makes me scream “YES” every time something new comes on. That electronic feel to each song, makes them ahead of our time. As a Panther, being worlds ahead is a phrase we live by. This playlist will allow you to do just that.
