From Oct. 26 through Nov. 10, FIU will be hosting an impressive lineup of musical genius at the Modesto Maidique campus. The lineup will include musicians from FIU and all over the country, including Grammy-nominated jazz musician Alfredo Rodriguez.

The concerts will be taking place at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center concert hall, a state-of-the-art concert hall otherwise known as the Wertheim around campus.

Tickets fees range from free to $50, depending on the concert. What is the catch? Well, tickets are selling fast. In the past some concerts have been known to sell out and this year is no different, so it is reasonable to secure tickets as soon as possible.

The performances are scheduled to last anywhere from one to two hours. Some are scheduled early afternoon to early evening, but all performances will allow you to immerse your senses into the sounds of Latin, jazz, or soul baring classical music depending upon the concert, time and day you choose.

All in all, one of the core principles of the FIU School of Music is not only to deliver culturally diverse music but also to deliver great music. To learn more about the music festival and School of Music, follow them on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook at @FIUmusic.
