Whether you me know me or not, if you have seen me walking down the hallway one thing is for sure- I had headphones on and was playing music.
I listen to music practically all day, every day. It is the easiest way for me to distract my own mind in a split second but it also helps me focus.
I have been obsessed with music since I can remember.
I have no favorite genre. When asked who my favorite artist is I have to give my top 20 in little to no specific order.
The way music is able to transform a person’s mood has always been a magical process to me.
90 percent of my greatest life moments involve music: Music festivals, jamming out in a car with my best friends, painting in a room with headphones, or even those shower concerts we all headline.
The range of memories that a good song can come with are endless.
I can never answer the question of who my favorite artist is because there are so many talented musicians.
In order to choose a winner, the categories have to be specific, there could literally only be one.
The magic that comes with enjoying music has carried me throughout my life. It has begun to help me understand emotions and feelings that I didn’t know how to name before.
Music allows my mind to escape. Whenever I am listening to music and daydream it feels like I am able to distance myself from reality for a second and unlock new parts of my mind.
I love listening to music and discovering a new sound. It always gives me a feeling.
Some songs make you feel untouchable, some can make you feel so vulnerable it hurts.
My love and bond with music was bound to happen at some point. I was introduced to music at a very young age because music is deeply rooting in my family.
My Uncle on my mom’s side made Gospel music and was a music teacher. My dad makes rap music. My mom took my sister and me to Broadway musicals our entire lives.
Even my sister and I have written and recorded a song or two.
I have always been a big fan of all forms of the arts, music is just the one that grasped my attention the most.
Everyone has a crutch. There’s one thing that helps them get through the day, mine is Music.
If you are concerned by the amount of music, I listen to please note that I have already come to terms with the fact that I am going to need hearing aids when I get older.
