The FIU Student Programming Council is offering a unique opportunity for the first time in their organization: the Universal Studios Takeover trip.

Open for all FIU students, the trip will include a two-park one day pass and participation in CNBC’s show “The Profit” on March 30. Meal cards and transport to and from Orlando, Florida, are also included.

“It’s an educational and cultural experience,” said SPC President Isabella Ojeda. CNBC will be offering a class in Universal Studios about leadership skills and business and personal development, featuring host Marcus Lemonis.

“The Profit” is a show where Lemonis tries to help small-businesses across the United States to profit and become a better company.

This is the first time SPC is hosting this event. Ojeda said that it’s an opportunity for students to learn those skills and use it on future internships and jobs. Students will also influence people within an organization with these skills, according to Ojeda.

Students are allowed to spend the rest of the day at the Island of Adventures and Universal Studios after the class with “The Profit”.

Tickets for the event are already on sale for $40, one ticket per person only. Students must present a valid Panther ID and pay with cash. For more information, visit fiu.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/student-programming-council-bbc or @fiuspc on Instagram.
