Eleven new COVID-19 cases were reported to the university last week. Seven students and four faculty members self-reported having the virus.

PantherNOW usually reports the number of cases around noon but today the dashboard was updated at 4:44 pm. The FIU dashboard only reflects cases reported by students and faculty to the Student Affairs and Human Resources divisions.

The dashboard divides the number of cases into four categories: students living or learning on campus; students learning remotely; faculty/staff working on campus and faculty/staff working remotely.

In four weeks, a total of 50 students and 16 faculty cases have been reported to the university from Aug 17 to Sept 3. Of cases, self-reported 33 students live on campus and six professors teach face-to-face.

This dashboard is updated once a week on Monday or Tuesday if there is a holiday.
