Whether you’re cooking for the first time this holiday season or you’re looking to whip out some new dishes, we got you covered. Below find some of our e-board’s favorite and mouth-watering Thanksgiving appetizers.

  1. Pão de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread)

What it is: A cheese bread with golden crust, and a gooey, cheesy interior. Those sweet Hawaiian breads are irroestiable, I get it. But why not try your hand at something new.

2. Strawberry Pie

What it is: No description needed. It’s strawberry goodness! If you’re tired of the traditional pumpkin and apple pies, swap it for this strawberry recipe.

3, Sweet Potato Casserole

What it is: If mashed potatoes and gravy aren’t your cup of tea, a sweet potato casserole is the perfect substitute. Some pecans, brown sugar and vanilla make this casserole a batch of crunchy, sweet deliciousness.

4. Cheesy Root Vegetable Casserole

If you’re lacking on the veggies this Thanksgiving, then pull out this cheesy root vegetable casserole. It’s got sweet potatoes, celery, gold potatoes and parsnips and most importantly a ton of cheese.

5. Buttery Herb Stuffing

What it is: It’s no secret that a slab of butter makes everything taste better, this stuffing is no exception. With golden and crunchy edges, this buttery herb stuffing brings a classic right to the table.

6. Baked Macaroni and Cheese:

What it is: We all dream about having a good ole’ bowl of cheesy mac and cheese. Thanksgiving is the perfect opportunity to put a twist on that favorite. Add some bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, butter and toss into that oven.

7. Pumpkin Cheesecake Roll:

What it is: It’s a mix between a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake topped off with powdered sugar. What’s not to love?
