Not Cooking? Here’s Where You Can Grab Take-Out This Thanksgiving

As the holiday season approaches at the end of a tumultuous year, Thanksgiving looms. With the ongoing pandemic, you may be unable to reconnect with family this time around. Here are some restaurants in Miami-Dade and Broward County that offer promotions for turkey day this year.

Boston Market: With over a dozen locations across Broward and Dade, Boston Market is one of the most accessible options for purchasing takeout on Thanksgiving. They serve an entire traditional meal, complete with a turkey, ham and/or prime rib. Servings come for groups of 4-6 or groups of 12. Customers may also pick and choose individual dishes a la carte and dine in. 

Buca di Beppo: This Italian restaurant can be found in Davie, and it’s already begun Thanksgiving promotions that will run until Thursday. To-go options for smaller groups start at $68.99, whereas catering options for groups of 10-20 start at $219.99. Traditional Thanksgiving dishes will be included, as well as Italian options to go with them. Dine-in also available.

Cracker Barrel: Located in Pembroke Pines, Cracker Barrel’s Heat n’ Serve Thanksgiving meal comes in two servings, and this promotion lasts until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The Family Dinner serves 4-6 people and is priced at $69.99, whereas the Heat n’ Serve Feast feeds 8-10 and is priced at $139.99. Pies and other side dishes are also available at varying prices.

Denny’s: This classic breakfast chain can be found all across South Florida with over 20 locations throughout Broward and Dade, all of which will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Their Turkey & Dressing Dinner, a meal of turkey breast with stuffing and cranberry sauce, is the featured item on the menu for the week, priced at $10.69. 

Doris Market: Doris Market is a local Italian bakery and restaurant with three locations in Broward. They’re offering three different family dinner packages. The Traditional and Supreme Packages are priced at $119.85 and $179.85 respectively, and both serve turkey as main entree. The Spiral Ham Package, an alternative meal also priced at $119.85, substitutes turkey for ham.

Golden Corral: Broward and Dade have one location each of this American buffet chain. Their promotion offers holiday meals to go for 6-8 people with the choice of turkey, ham, or fried chicken as the main dish. Both takeout and dine-in customers may enjoy those holiday items a la carte.

Hard Rock Cafe: With one restaurant in Davie and one in Miami, Hard Rock Cafe is another dine-in option for families in either county. Their special addition the menu for the day is their slow-roasted turkey breast served with stuffing, mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.

Morton’s the Steakhouse: This high-end steakhouse can be found in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables and North Miami Beach. For $49, each customer is served oven roasted turkey roulade to go with bacon onion mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes for a holiday themed dinner. Select locations may offer the standard restaurant menu as well.
