A recent alumnus died at the Modesto Maidique Campus on Saturday evening, according to an email sent out to the university community today.
Police do not expect foul play. The identity of the alumnus has not been released.
“Please join us in keeping this student and his family in your thoughts,” stated the email.
The email encouraged students to refer to the university’s Counseling and Psychological Services if affected by the passing. Additional campus support services are available via the Panthers Care student distress support referral program.
