This year’s Xbox & Bethesda show was stacked with new and upcoming games to look forward to. The Panel at E3 started with Bethesda’s CEO Todd Howard introducing their brand new original Starfield.
Starfield is 25 years in the making at Bethesda Studios and looks like a promising new title to add to their legacy. The game will be released on November 11, 2022.
Right after that, viewers got a first look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl, which promises an authentic next-gen experience. The game will hit the shelves on April 28, 2022.
One of the most exciting announcements was Sea of Thieves getting an expansion pact with no other character than Jack Sparrow. The Pirate’s Life features fan-favorite characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean series and will release later this June.
Pre-Alpha footage was shown for Battlefield 2042, and just from the short video alone, it looks like it will be one of the most anticipated games.
There were teaser trailers for Contraband, Twelve Minutes, Atomic Hearts, Ground, and The Outer Worlds 2. While most of the teasers didn’t give much away they still got the interest of many viewers.
New content will be coming out soon for Among Us, such as a new map with new tasks. Also, the number of plays will be expanded to 15. It will be released on the Xbox later this summer.
Fallout 76 will be getting two new expansions, Steel Reign coming on July 7. And a sneak peek for The Pitt which will be released sometime in 2022.
Fans got a better look at Halo: Infinite, and it was confirmed that the multiplayer will be entirely free and is a cross-play for Xbox and PC.
Microsoft Flight Simulator will come to Xbox later this year and come with DLC-themed to Top Gun Maverick.
The second to last trailer was Forza Horizon 5, where gameplay footage was shown. This Forza installment assures that this will be the most significant Horizon game in the series.
To wrap the showcase up, we got a trailer for a new game called Redfall. The trailer seemed to be a cooperative game that puts you and your team against vampire-like creatures.
It’s an exciting time for fans of Xbox and Bethesda. With a plethora of games announced, it’s good to know there is new and fresh content coming out soon.
