Pfizer Vaccine Available for FIU Community & Eligible Household Numbers

The Pfizer vaccine is available at FIU for students, faculty, staff, retirees, and eligible members of their households.

According to an email sent out this morning by FIU External Relations, first doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be accessible on Wednesday, July 7. Children between the ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, showing photo ID or a birth certificate read the email.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be on a first come, first served basis. To make an appointment for the vaccine click the link here. The second dose will be made available on Wednesday, July 28.

“At FIU, we strive to help our Panther family stay safe and healthy. Please remember that vaccinated or not, we must all continue to observe COVID-19 mitigation guidelines,” stated the email.
