Aye Yo Ma

By: Luna

She sees flaws

Where I see beauty

Scars

Where I see perfection

Her strength doesn’t come from her backbone

But her eyes

And her tongue

That lashes like the harshest wind

Her shoulders carry the world

Who knew it was so small

Yet so heavy?

Her world doesn’t revolve around the sun

But her sons

And daughters

Everyday

She has to follow the rules of gravity

And ignore skeptics

She’s surrounded

By distant stars

That never turn

And barely change

The moon

That controls everything she must do

At least he thinks so

She’s beautiful

Everything about her

Is

Beautiful
