In the wake of Hurricane Ian’s widespread impact on southwest Florida, the PantherNOW staff will be collecting donations in the form of non-perishable food, clothing, water and other supplies.
Drop off boxes are available in both of our offices – PCA 180 at the Modesto Maidique Campus and WUC 124 at the Biscayne Bay Campus.
Our news director, who is from southwest Florida, will be making weekly trips to aid in recovery efforts in the region and will bring the donations with him. You can contact Michael regarding any donation questions.
Should you have further questions, you can contact our editor-in-chief on the “About” page on our website.
Along with our own donation drive, there are several other community organizations we recommend you consider.
- The Heights Foundation
- Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW)
- Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Commission (SCCF)
- Florida’s Disaster Fund
- Feeding South Florida
- CARE Southwest Florida Fund
- Gladiolus Food Pantry
