From ballads to rap and hip-hop dancing, Panthers Got Talent brought out the musical talent in all students
Taking place on Sep. 17, the talent show invited all Panthers to show their skills in front of a live audience.
The show included over ten acts, which included rapping, dancing and singing in genres like country and pop, some of which students choreographed and wrote themselves.
This year’s winner, performing Halle Bailey’s version of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s Little Mermaid 2023 remake, was biochemistry student Paris Magella.
“I saw the new movie like not that long ago, and honestly, I love the rendition she did of the song,” said Magella. “I didn’t think I could reach the notes that she did in her rendition, but I kind of surprised myself.”
Gia Lozano, sophomore student and dancer, shared her thoughts about taking her passion to the stage.
“I always loved music growing up, and it was really fun,” said Lozano.
“If you have a talent, come out because this is literally for anyone who has a talent. That’s what makes this show special.”
