With July around the corner and the summer hitting its peak, the time to have fun has never been clearer.
Here are some events that are worth checking out in the upcoming month:
Nintendo Switch Sports Tournament: Starting off the month with prizes and a competitive spirit is FIU Esports with a tournament consisting of a best of 3 matches being held exclusively at the Graham Center Pit on Tuesday, July 2, from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Campus Life Minute to Win It: The Campus Life Organization is holding a last-minute event with prizes at Biscayne Bay Campus in Panther Square on Tuesday, July 9, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Wine Sensory Workshop: The Wine Guild dives in on the variety of aromas found in wine and much more, at the Biscayne Bay Campus in the Chaplin school of Hospitality and Tourism management building, room 171, also on July 9, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.; with the option to join through zoom.
Panther Social 3: The Latin American Dance club is hosting their last dance meet-up this summer with salsa and more, located directly at the Graham Center Pit on Friday, July 12, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Roast Tasting: The Coffee Guild invites all FIU Students to their roast tasting event where they explain and let students taste different roasts in coffee, housed directly at Biscayne Bay Campus in the Chaplin school of Hospitality and Tourism management building, room 129 on Thursday, July 18 at 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.; with the option of students to join through zoom as well.
HLP Study Break: The Healthy Living Program is offering a fresh unwind event on campus with free stuff, located at the Green Library Breezeway on Monday, July 22, at 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Fruits Wines with Schnebly Redland’s Winery: Closing the month off we have the Wine Guild, in which they discuss the history, production and much more of the wine industry at Biscayne Bay Campus on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30 P.M to 7:00 P.M. in HM 171.
