Alexander Stone was dismissed of second-degree felony charges during his hearing the morning of January 29th. He declined to give any official statements.
Stone, former Speaker of the Senate, was arrested December 30th for written threats to kill toward another FIU student through social media.
“The defendant intended the threat to be a true threat. The defendant was advised that the electronic statements were made by him, via Snapchat, post Miranda,” read FIU Police reports.
Stone has been discharged of any persecution and his case is officially classified as closed.
