FIU softball is off to an impressive start this season, posting a 4-1 record through its first five games.
The Panthers have already showcased resilience and clutch performances, most notably in a thrilling 7-6 walk-off victory in extra innings against Iowa State.
That game, filled with late-inning heroics, set the tone for FIU’s strong opening week.
Currently sitting second in the Conference USA standings, the Panthers now turn their attention to the Puerto Vallarta Challenge in Mexico, taking place from Feb. 13-15.

This tournament presents an opportunity to build on their momentum and continue their winning ways.
As the season progresses, FIU aims to improve on last year’s 21-29 record and climb the conference ranks.

With a strong start and confidence on their side, the Panthers are poised to make a significant impact in Conference USA play.
