The team finished the 2024 season with 27 wins, the program’s highest total since 2018, earning a spot in the Conference USA Championship.
Head coach Rich Witten enters his third season with the team. Since joining in 2022, the Panthers have shown steady progress under his leadership, improving their record in each of his first two seasons.
Along with 19 returning lettermen from last season, the Panthers welcome 21 newcomers to the roster.
The Panthers will open the season with 26 consecutive games in Florida, including 23 home matchups at FIU Baseball Stadium.
FIU’s first out-of-state trip will be on March 28, when they travel to face Middle Tennessee in a Conference USA matchup.
