Yesterday, SGA announced the Gold & Blue party’s victory, led by current President Francesca Casanova and Vice President Wilken Caseres, on their Instagram. The total vote count has not yet been released at the time of publish.
Due to the controversial nature of the election, such as disqualifications of candidates based off allegedly arbitrary reasons, numerous students have left comments requesting vote totals be publicly released due to allegations of election fraud by the elections board on behalf of Gold & Blue.
Although elections had been extended due to these circumstances, students and candidates still express concerns regarding the integrity of Blue & Gold’s electoral win.
