The Panthers will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn for their final road contest of the 2025 season to take on Middle Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.

The Panthers currently sit third in the Conference USA standings with a 3-1 record in CUSA-play and 6-3-3 overall.

FIU is coming off their first conference loss of the season after falling to Liberty at home in their previous match.

Following the departure of many key senior players, others who took a more supportive role from the previous season have stepped up and showed what they could do.

Junior Montelene Dymond has proven herself to be a reliable player upfront as she has become the team’s top scorer with seven and has already passed her scoring total from last season.

Senior Chinatsu Kaio has played a very important role in the season, contributing with two assists and three goals.

Grace Morris, Mona Gellert, and Valery Restrepro have shown they can be dependable players, as they are the only three members of the team who have played, and started, all 12 games of the season for first year Head Coach Mat Dunn

The Panthers are not only looking to equal last year’s achievements, but also build on them and take it further.

After winning 13 games, the second most wins in program history, during the 2024 season, the team claimed the regular season and Conference USA Tournament titles, earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Auburn in the first round.
