The FIU women’s soccer team will round out their season at home, against Missouri State (5-8-3, CUSA 2-3-2) at Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Being Missouri State’s inaugural season in the CUSA, this will mark their first-ever meeting with FIU.
The Panthers snapped their three-game losing streak with a win over Louisiana Tech (4-12-1, CUSA 3-4), moving them up to 5th in the CUSA standings.
Against Louisiana Tech, the Panthers had 15 shots, with the goal being the only one on target.

Kennedy Floyd scored the first and only goal midway through the first half, finishing with three total shots, with an assist from Mona Gellert.
Valery Restrepo has been dominating with another career and season high of eight saves, breaking her last record of seven. She continues to be a key factor for the Panther’s defense.
The final game of the Panthers season will serve as Senior Day, celebrating the seniors for all they’ve accomplished over the years. Those being honored are Chinatsu Kaio, Barbara Garcia, Hanako Fujii, Kennedy Floyd, Brealyn Viamille, Zora Jackson, Noa Oliva Ganthier, Ola Orelesi, Ashly Martinez, Odaliana Gomez, Grace Morris, and Jayden Boelter.

With their latest win, the Panthers have clinched a spot in the CUSA Tournament. This marks the third straight year the Panthers have qualified for the tournament, as they look to recapture the glory of winning it all, just as they did the year before.
The CUSA tournament starts Nov. 2, in Virginia at the home of the Liberty University Flames.
