Greg Ellingson has found his way back to the National Football League.
It was a match that tested the will of the FIU Panthers. The fourth seeded Panthers (6-14) played themselves into an early 0-3 hole, but rallied back and clinched a 4-3 contest against the seventh seeded Troy Trojans (11-10) in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Tournament on April 20.
After finishing the season losing five out of their last five events, tennis head coach Melissa Applebaum-Dallau has gotten practice underway in preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
The FIU Panthers dropped their 3rd straight home loss this Friday in the hands of the No. 49 Brown University Bears, losing 6-1, sinking to a 5-13 overall record for the 2012 season.
Fresh off a 5-2 victory over Sun Belt foe and rival, Florida Atlantic University, FIU (5-12) will look to keep up their winning ways against Ivy League standout, Brown University. The Bears strolls into South Florida and will do to battle against the Panthers on March 30 at the FIU Panther Tennis Center. The match time is slated for 1pm.
