Child brides lose chance for safety

There seemed to be very little doubt about the International Protecting Girls by Preventing Child Marriages Act of 2010 passing unanimously. One would think a legislation that helps prevent the horrifying phenomenon of young girls being forced into marriages with men 20 years their senior would transcend political party lines and appeal to their collective morals.
