Students should try to understand financial aid

University life is hard but knowing that there are thousands of dollars of debt just waiting to be paid off is adding extra stress to our students, extra stress that sometimes wasn’t even required in the first place.

Nature Preserve vote breeds distrust and disappointment

Monday, March 21, FIUSM published the news that the Board of Trustees unanimously approved the construction of two practice fields atop one-third of the Nature Preserve. This decision came about in the midst of student protest, petition and controversy.

Friday, March 4, the University sent an email to all students concerning recent allegations of sexual misconduct on the behalf of Head Coach Marlin Chinn. While the email touts the University’s responsibility to students, faculty and staff, the content fails to live up to said responsibility.
