Thanks to everyone for going in this journey with me and reading this blog. Now it’s time for you to get up and get over here! I promise it’s the best experience you’ll ever have.
Through this time, I’ve realized that I’m coming back to Miami as a different person. That I’m coming back completely changed, which means that, once I get back, a lot of things are going to change for me.
Yesterday we did a 20 mile hike (equivalent of 10 hours). It was beautiful. To be walking with nature and to have a view this great. It’s almost unreal.
Tourism is more concentrated in Florence than in Rome or Miami, it’s still an amazing place to visit. You can’t go to Italy and not visit Florence. It’s a completely different experience. Almost like a whole other country.
The David is the greatest sculpture ever made by a human being. And, in case you didn’t know, it was sculpted by Michelangelo. After this piece (and this is my opinion), everything else is kind of a detail. Important, but less amazing.
I must admit I was sad to leave Rome. I was sad to leave a place with so much history and so much belonging.
