Students hoping to meet with their Modesto A. Maidique Student Government Council senators during office hours will have to put the thought on hold, as the bill that would open the opportunity will be withdrawn.



Late rally keeps Championship hopes alive as Panthers win 4-3 over Troy

It was a match that tested the will of the FIU Panthers. The fourth seeded Panthers (6-14) played themselves into an early 0-3 hole, but rallied back and clinched a 4-3 contest against the seventh seeded Troy Trojans (11-10) in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Tournament on April 20.


FIU suffers first conference defeat

The two years of dominance in the Sun Belt Conference has come to a halt – at least for now.
In an attempt to initiate their Sun Belt Conference matches on a high note, FIU returned home with a 4-3 victory versus the Jaguars of South Alabama but faltered against the North Texas Mean Green in a 4-3 defeat.
