This year’s Grammys saw several artists take home awards that were either well received or not generally favored among FIU students.
After an increase of 3.5 percent in the Activity & Service Fee, the U-Wide Council reconvened on March 8 to allocate additional funds to several campus organizations. The council deliberated on an additional amount of about $1.5 million.
Campus-specific budget deliberations at both the Modesto Maidique and Biscayne Bay campuses were postponed until further notice, according to the Student Government Association.

The first of eight meetings regarding budget hearings and deliberations will proceed as scheduled today, though a new body will have approval power.
