Floating art, ribbon cutting to celebrate Earth Day

Hand-painted cubes with other garnishes floated around the lake behind the Green library on Tuesday, April 22. These art installations, which will be floating décor for the lake until the end of April, were brought to the University by the PIAG Museum to commemorate Earth Day in conjunction with the palmetum ribbon cutting.

University opens renewed palmetum for Earth Day

The University is celebrating Earth Day on April 22 at 11 a.m. with the inauguration of the completed University Palmetum, which is now one of the largest university Palmetums in the nation.

EPA stops by to sign understanding with University

The University was greeted this past Friday by Gwendolyn Keyes Fleming, regional administrator of the Southeast Region for the Environmental Protection Agency.
