The Council of Graduate Schools and Educational Testing Services awarded the University for its proposal to establish a new community of doctoral scholars to support underrepresented minority PhD students.
The Florida Department of Children and Families reported that women between the ages of 16 to 24 were at the greatest risk of nonfatal, intimate partner violence in 2009-2010.
