Former FIU basketball player arrested for sexual battery

According to the Pembroke Pines police, former FIU women’s basketball player, Marquita Adley has been arrested on three counts of sexual battery. She has bond of $5,000 per count alleged against her. The trial for Adley is still pending.

Ferguson declares for the NBA Draft

Dominique Ferguson has had enough with FIU, and has decided to enter the 2012 NBA draft and forgo his last two seasons of collegiate ball. This announcement coming less than a month after his former head coach Isiah Thomas was released from his contract.
