Butterflys and flowers will be added to MMC’s Nature Preserve to honor Earth Day

In commemoration of Earth Day, the Office of University Sustainability will be hosting a butterfly garden planting and butterfly release event at the Nature Preserve located in the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Floating art, ribbon cutting to celebrate Earth Day

Hand-painted cubes with other garnishes floated around the lake behind the Green library on Tuesday, April 22. These art installations, which will be floating décor for the lake until the end of April, were brought to the University by the PIAG Museum to commemorate Earth Day in conjunction with the palmetum ribbon cutting.

Miami-Dade Transit enlists Heat to get students excited about commutes
