A block enrollment program began for freshmen in four majors who will be automatically enrolled in their courses each semester, said to eliminate registration issues and guarantee graduation in four years.
After an unpopular pilot program over the summer that barred food and drink from the Green and Hubert Libraries, students can once again eat while they cram for their exams, but with a few added caveats. The summer’s policy change was impacted by students’ comments regarding food in the library from the LibQUAL+ Survey that was conducted spring 2013.
Aided with an individual first place finish by Daniela Espino in the five-mile run, the Golden Panthers women’s cross country team finished in third place at the Florida Gulf Coast University Invitational in Fort Myers on Sept. 2. The Golden Panthers’ men’s team finished in third place in the four mile run portion of the invitational. Joshua Estrada led the Golden Panthers individually with a fourth place finish.
