It is no secret that the millennial population is one that votes infrequently, but it is imperative that students have a say in our national, local and student governments if they wish to make a difference – otherwise, those elected have the power of stagnation in office, whether due to under-qualification or deliberate enforcement of an agenda – who knows what can happen when people simply aren’t looking.
The Meet Your Dean event on Wednesday, Oct. 22, hosted by the Student Government Association, was an opportunity for students to get advice from the leaders of their schools’ and learn ways to successfully reach graduation.
Last week Wednesday, Oct. 22, during the Meet Your Dean event, students were able to get advice from professionals in their college and meet with advisors and their colleges’ deans, all without an appointment.
