English class organizes environmental awareness event focusing on the Everglades
Writing as Social Action is a class that started a project to save the Everglades, has organized the event “6 ft. Under” on Nov. 22 — in conjunction with the FIU Nature Preserve — to raise awareness about rising sea levels, the loss of the Everglades and their effect on South Florida.
