President Mark B. Rosenberg remained optimistic about University partnerships and improving under the Board of Governors’ performance funding model on Monday at the Biscayne Bay Campus town hall meeting where he also addressed the need for more parking and extended dining hours.
Among the biggest issues in 2011 for the Panthers was the propensity to commit errors. They led the Sun Belt Conference last season with 98, and an error in Sunday’s game may have cost them the chance to win their series against Florida State University.

FIU (0-3) suffered a sweep at the hands of the Owls (3-0) in their season opening series, having the lead only once in all three games.
