Three players record career-highs in FIU road loss at Louisiana

The Panthers (17-8, 9-5 SBC) lost all the momentum they picked up after a tremendous first-set comeback to lose to the Ragin’ Cajuns (13-17, 5-9 SBC) in five sets, (26-24, 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 11-15). The loss snapped FIU’s six-game winning streak. It was also the first time the team lost when leading 2-0 this season.


Egan earns double-double in FIU win over Troy

On the heels of three Panther double-double performances, FIU beat Troy 3-1, (25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18) and extended their winning streak to four games. With the win, FIU remains perfect against Troy (14-10, 4-6 SBC), having won all 12 games against their program.




Tomic talking tough to struggling team

After a weekend where they did not win a single set against Middle Tennessee or Western Kentucky, the FIU volleyball squad had a mandatory team meeting on Tuesday where Tomic put her team on the map and told them where they were.


FIU drops road games at WKU, MTSU

WKU (17-2, 7-1 SBC) absolutely clobbered FIU en route to a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-10, 25-13) and the Panthers dropped their second match of the weekend on Oct. 16 to the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (11-9, 8-1 SBC), losing in three straight sets (25-23, 25-21, 25-16)



Golden Panthers prepare for important weekend matches

It appeared as if the dark clouds that hung over the Panther volleyball team two weeks ago after losses to Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky had vanished, blown away by a dominant sweep of FAU on Oct.7. Then came Monday.
