Despite an early goal by Jahbari Willis, the Golden Panthers were unable to pull off a upset on the road against Ohio State.
The sixth annual Bert & Iris Wolstein classic will play host to this upcoming weekend’s important matches for FIU. The team will take on Ohio State, ranked 15th in the nation, and Penn State, ranked 18th in the nation.
Former Ohio State wide receiver James Louis made his first appearance at FIU football practice on Aug. 26 at 5:45 p.m. Louis is a four-star recruit from Atlantic Bay High school who had a slew of other schools that he had the opportunity to go to after Ohio State, even next door neighbor University of Miami.
There is still no word on whether or not wide receiver James Louis from Ohio State will transfer to FIU, but the recent running back that transferred from West Virginia, Daquan Hargrett, may still have a chance to play this year if he signs a waiver.
