Students are invited to come together and put aside the prejudgements that exist among genders, races, ethnicity, cultures and disabilities with the 12th annual Diversity Day hosted by Campus Life-BBC.
Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh hosted the “South Florida All-Star Classic,” raising $100,000 for Mary’s Court, a foundation in the name of FIU basketball head coach Isiah Thomas’ late mother.
The South Florida All-Star Classic will be broadcast live on CBS4 and MyTV33, as well as being streamed online at CBSMiami.com, according to the University's athletics department.
Many students and fans were expected to be in line to buy tickets for a game featuring NBA All-Stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. What wasn't expected, however, was how fast the tickets would go.
FIU Head Basketball Coach Isiah Thomas announced today that U.S. Century Bank Arena will play host to the “LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh present the South Florida All-Star Classic” on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. ET.
