Magic Mike XXL was no masterpiece, despite the chiseled masterpieces on the screen, but was without a doubt entertaining. The movie starts three years after the end of the original Magic Mike, and Mike( Channing Tatum) is lonely and poor, but too proud to admit it to his old Kings of Tampa stripping buddies. Their stripping days almost over, the men decide to have one last hurrah at a stripper convention in Myrtle Beach. They make their way in a Fro-yo van and decide to reinvent themselves with new routines.
After some mishaps and reunions, the boys make it to the convention and their new routines are a huge success. The movie’s script was all over the place. But, if anyone went to see Magic Mike XXL for the compelling story and great cinematography, they should have known better. The fact is Magic Mike XXL was made to entertain and it accomplished its goal. The movie was fun and sexy. The choreography was amazing and breath-taking. It’s a good girl’s night (or boy’s night) movie, and that’s all it aimed to be.

All in all: 3/5
