The ‘What is Missing, What is Not: The City of North Miami through its Mid-Century Photographs’ exhibit is coming to Biscayne Bay Campus’s Glenn Hubert Library.
The exhibit will open on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 5:45 p.m. with an event called ‘Boulevard of Dreams,’ where jazz and stories will be shared.
Florida historian and author Seth Bramson will share his well-known “history talks” about North Miami and the land on which BBC resides.
Jazz music will be curated by WLRN-FM host Ted Grossman for the night.
The history of North Miami will be displayed through a series of photographs from the 50s and 60s.
The exhibit is made up of 27 pictures that will expose viewers to the contrast of the city. Eventbrite says it will be an “an examination of the political, societal and environmental issues of the time.”
Check in for Thursday’s event will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Seth Bramson will be having his talk at 6:30 p.m. and a book signing at 7:30 p.m.
