Among the endless study halls and review sessions, clubs at FIU are helping students refresh their bodies and minds before taking on their finals.

Here are some events to attend in the next few days:

Senior Breakfast Pop-up: Taking place on Friday, April 21, the School of Architecture’s thesis presentation day, this pop-up hosted by the American Institute of Architecture Students will provide free breakfast to students in the BEA gallery starting at 8:30 AM.

Tendaji Brunch: On Sunday, April 23, FIU’s Black Student Union will host a celebratory end-of-year event at the BBC Wolfson Center ballrooms with select brunch dishes from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Chinese Karaoke: FIU’s Chinese Club and Sino-U.S. Language Culture Salon will host a karaoke competition and language exchange event with complimentary food from 12 PM to 2 PM on Monday, Apilr 24, giving students a chance to unwind and sing their hearts out.

Late Night Breakfast: On Monday, April 24, students will be able to enjoy a hearty breakfast meal and a “Friends” marathon from 7 PM to 10 PM at BBC’s Panther Square before taking on finals the next morning.

Drop-in to Drop the Stress: Counseling and Psychological Services at FIU will be hosting an online meeting on Tuesday, April 25 where students can receive peer-to-peer support and stress management resources from 2 PM to 3 PM.

As the year winds down, stress is at an all time high. These events, though few, are essential in reminding students to not only take care of themselves, but to look out for each other in the remaining weeks and beyond.
