“FIU does not comment on personnel matters; therefore, no further details are available at this time regarding Chief Casas.”

Casas’s leave comes after claims of him groping staff members while posing for pictures surfaced.

The details surrounding Casas’s leave are unknown.

PantherNOW reached out to FIU Media Relations for comment and were told that that they won’t comment on personnel matters.
