Former SunBelt Conference rival joins Conference USA

Just as the Panthers made the move from the SunBelt Conference to Conference USA on July 1 of 2013, the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky University did on July 1 this year.

The Hilltoppers join the same division of CUSA being in the East.

The Panthers will not play the Hilltoppers in football this season however, a likely matchup will be held in basketball.
